I've been vibe coder since day 1 ChatGPT got released. I guess ko It's really shocking on how vibe coding been evolving. I remember when "Devin" was announced and it was really mindblowing even though their position basically stolen by Cursor that day, what a nostalgia.
Don't get me wrong, even though i always talk about engineering—i'm also a vibe coder and i think day by day my coding skills actually degrading ngl.
What Actually Happened?
Well back to the topic. Today i've vibe coded quite alot and i received this "new" thing in my Github Copilot CLI which says

and i was like wtf?
I thought their usage policy are based of my premium model requests and i've only used like what 67%? (six seven lol).
I was really shocked and after doing some research and i think—it's finally here! the AI enshittification 💩. They RESTRICTED their usage policy!.
Why Did This Thing Happened?
Well first of all when we talk about Large Language Model usage we always gonna ended up talking about token usage because well it's basically universal usage consumption for LLMs. But here's a thing most of vibe coding tools eg. Github Copilot, Claude Code, Codex etc. did not use that pricing model because it's too f*cking complex 😫.
And that's how they ended up with user based pricing. they offer us a plan and their gave us "a fair usage limit" right?
Yeah that's a thing and here's a thing actually—even though we paid 10 worth of AI tokens but it could be more, it could be 10,000 worth of f*cking tokens!
And we can say that this thing is impossible to implement without funding. Even though they allocated like $211 Billion to AI, i think it will never be enough 🤣.
The Wake Up Call For Vibe Coder
But from the other side we must see good thing from this "enshittification".
day-by-day we realized that our skills are actually the one who really got "enshittificated" due to this brain rotting vibe coding slop thing.
And we realized, this phenomenon, this vibe coding oppurtunity is not forever.
Value your skills more, keep using AI but learn from it.
Why? Because we've been enslaving this AI without even learning a single thing from it.
These days i've seen marketing people, finance people, basically everyone without any coding background creating software.
Thing is if you wanted to create a software that actually works you must entrust the project to yourself and not rely 100% on AI. yes you can use AI but you MUST learn from it.
Remember when we steal someone's knowledge by talking to them. Now we must do the same with AI.
Keep using AI, but don't get replaced by it.
